 What is Plan B?

It is an emergency contraceptive pill or commonly known as morning after pill.


Is Plan B used for abortion?

No! If you want to terminate your pregnancy, Plan B cannot help you with that.


What is the generic name of Plan B?

Levonorgestrel. Same with other medicines, there are several other brands, too. Same dosage, same purpose and just as effective. Other popular brands are My Way, My Choice, etc.


How many tablets do I need to take for it work?

Just a single dose or 1 tablet to be taken orally or through your mouth.


When can I take it?

Right after or as soon as possible. You have at least 3-5 days to take it to prevent pregnancy. The effectiveness decreases over time so don’t delay. 


What are the side effects?

Mild and temporary headaches and dizziness.


Will this affect my fertility in the future?

No, it doesn’t.


Is it safe?

It is proven to be completely safe and effective. It is similar to any other over the counter pills.


Is there an age restriction?

Nope. Teenagers may take it, too.


Is this not sold locally?

Unfortunately, no. We import them from the USA where it is sold over the counter with no prescription.
